Gasconade Landing is primative with very limited electricity. There are no tables or fire rings, but the setting is absolutely beautiful! Bathrooms will not be available at the start of the race. Please dont leave any trash! Many hotles in the area are offering discounted rates for anyone involved with the race. Sponsors and hotel partners can be found by clicking here.
The finish line is a gorgeous full service camp ground nested directly on Boiling Spring (14th largest spring in the state). Boiling Spring Campground is overlooked by a huge limestone bluff and surrounded by thick woods and the GAS. Campsites are still available at the campground but they WILL sell out. Dont wait if you want to make reservations for camping and a family float trip the day after the race.
We are offering the racers support services after the awards. We will be taking two bus loads of racers back to Gasconade Landing after the race at very low cost. Times of the support service will be determined by demand and the grouping of the finishers. Upon completion of the race if you want to utilize the support services please sign-up with a race volunteer as soon as possible.
Please inform a race volunteer or the safety boat if you decide to withdraw from the race. Every boat must have a four digit boat number visible on both sides of the bow of their boat.
The only way paddlers can pre-register is on this site. Registration opens March 1st. Fill out all the forms and pay via pay-pal (no pay pal account is needed). Everyone else is at the mercy of registering the day of the race with cash or check. After May 16th, the registration fee goes up to $50 per paddler. If there are any paddlers unable to to register online please see the Contact Us page. If you receive a confirmation email after you register, you are most likely good to go. The roster will be updated once a week on Monday night. If your name is listed on the roster your registration is complete.
Many other area attractions and ammenities can be found on the Pulaski County Tourism Website.
